AC (General) inaugurates “ABH –H.O.P.E - Har Pind Sehat Abhiyan” to take quality healthcare to doorsteps
Ferozepur, Februry 8, 2026: Anil Baghi Hospital has launched a unique community healthcare initiative titled ABH –H.O.P.E -“Har Pind Sehat Abhiyan”, aimed at extending quality medical services to villages and underserved areas. The programme was formally inaugurated at Shaheed Sat Pal Baghi Park, with Assistant Commissioner (General) Rajbir Singh, presiding over the function as the Chief Guest.

The campaign is being implemented under ABH H.O.P.E. – Health Outreach Program and Education, conceptualised by Dr Vaishali Baghi, Chief Medical Director. She described the programme as the result of two years careful observation rather than a one-day plan. Sharing insights from her time in the United States, Dr Vaishali said that people there prioritise preventive healthcare and regular check-ups, treating health as a way of life rather than responding only during emergencies.
Managing Director and Director of Anil Baghi Hospital Dr Saurav Baghi, Dr Kamal Baghi, jointly stated that the initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to ensuring accessible and preventive healthcare for every village. They said the campaign focuses not only on treatment but also on awareness, early diagnosis, and long-term health support.
Addressing the gathering, AC Rajbir Singh lauded the initiative and said that under this campaign, every possible effort would be made to ensure better health facilities reach every household in villages. He described the programme as a meaningful step towards strengthening grassroots healthcare and reducing the burden on urban hospitals.
Under the initiative, Anil Baghi Hospital will provide free OPD consultations by specialist doctors, along with essential diagnostic tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, and other basic investigations. Free and assisted transportation to the hospital will also be arranged for patients from villages. Special focus will be given to the early identification and timely treatment of chronic and serious illnesses.
The programme will also include health awareness sessions on lifestyle diseases, early symptoms of stroke and heart attack, maternal and child health, and elderly care. Hospital authorities clarified that this is not a one-time medical camp but a continuous outreach effort to maintain long-term engagement with communities.
Doctors and staff members present on the occasion reaffirmed their commitment to delivering accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare to rural and border areas of the region.
