Under "Har Pind Sehat Abhiyan" initiative, 200 patients benefit from Free Medical Camp
Ferozepur, July 20, 2021: As part of its "Har Pind Sehat Abhiyan" initiative, Anil Baghi Hospital (ABH), Ferozepur, organised a free medical camp at Tibbi Kalan village, benefiting around 200 patients from the village and nearby areas.
A team of experienced doctors, nurses and paramedical staff conducted health check-ups for blood pressure, diabetes, fever, respiratory ailments, joint pain, bone-related disorders and other common illnesses. Patients were provided free medical consultation, medicines and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Doctors stressed the importance of regular health check-ups, balanced nutrition, daily exercise and avoiding tobacco and other addictions to prevent lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart ailments. Patients requiring specialised investigations or advanced treatment were referred to Anil Baghi Hospital for further care.
Dr Sourabh Baghi, CEO, ABH said the "Har Pind Sehat Abhiyan" aims not only to provide treatment but also to promote preventive healthcare and health awareness in rural areas by bringing quality medical services closer to people. They added that similar free medical camps will continue to be organised across villages in and around Ferozepur as part of the hospital's community healthcare initiative.
