Chandigarh relieves 5 police officers for new assignments

Chandigarh, August 3, 2026: The Chandigarh Administration has relieved five senior police officers from the Chandigarh Police Department with immediate effect to enable them to take up their new assignments.
According to an order issued by the Home Department, the officers relieved include Manjeet, IPS (AGMUT: 2015); Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS (AGMUT: 2015); K.M. Priyanka, IPS (AGMUT: 2021); Vikas Sheokand, DANIPS (2014); and A. Venkatesh, DANIPS (2014).
The order was issued in pursuance of directives of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, dated July 9, 2026.
