Minister Harpal Cheema celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr at Dirba
Congratulates Muslim community, announced a grant of Rs. 25 lakh for the construction of a Dharamshala

Dirba/Sangrur (Punjab), March 31, 2025: Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema today specially attended the celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr at the Jama Masjid located at Dirba and extended warm greetings to the Muslim community.
He said that he wishes that the Muslim community achieve further progress and prosperity. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is fully committed to permanently resolve the problems faced by the Muslim community.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, accepting the demand of the Muslim community, announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh for the construction of the Dharamshala.
He said that after releasing the amount in next 15 to 20 days, the construction work of this Dharamshala will be completed before the next Eid.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema directed the Municipal Council President and officials to select a suitable place for the construction of Eidgah.He also assured that a place for the Eidgah will be found soon, after which the process of constructing the Eidgah will be started.
Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Punjab Government is fully committed to providing the best basic facilities and administrative services to all sections of the society.Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema was also honored on this occasion.
