Ludhiana, July 8, 2025 –
In a move aimed at enhancing passport services for residents of Punjab, the newly upgraded Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in Ludhiana was formally launched on July 7, 2025, by Dr. K.J. Srinivasa, Joint Secretary (PSP) & Chief Passport Officer, Ministry of External Affairs.
The PSK has been relocated from its earlier premises at Akashdeep Complex, Gyan Singh Rarewalla Market, to a state-of-the-art facility at Global Business Park, G.T. Road, near Jalandhar Bypass, Village Bhora, Ludhiana.
The new PSK features expanded infrastructure and upgraded service delivery systems aimed at improving efficiency and the overall applicant experience. Key enhancements include streamlined process flows, upgraded interiors, and special amenities for women applicants visiting with infants.
The modernized facility is equipped to handle a larger volume of passport applications and reflects the Government of India’s continued commitment to providing citizen-centric services with greater ease, transparency, and comfort.
This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader vision to ensure timely and efficient passport services across the country, with a focus on improved accessibility and enhanced applicant satisfaction.
