Pakistani intruder caught on Amritsar Border with ₹330; BSF foils infiltration attempt
Amritsar, May 21, 2025: On the evening of May 20, alert troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani national who illegally crossed the International Border (IB) in the Amritsar sector.
The intruder was spotted approaching the border security fence near Karimpura village in Amritsar (Rural) district. The BSF personnel immediately challenged and captured him before he could proceed further.
During the search, Pakistani currency amounting to ₹330 was recovered from his possession. The individual identified himself as a Pakistani national.
After preliminary interrogation by BSF and associated intelligence agencies, the intruder was handed over to the local police for further investigation to ascertain his motive for crossing into Indian territory.
The BSF once again demonstrated its vigilance and swift action in safeguarding the nation’s borders.
