New Delhi, March 20: Oil marketing companies on Friday increased the prices of premium petrol variants by up to ₹2.35 per litre, adding to fuel costs for consumers opting for high-performance fuels, while keeping regular petrol prices unchanged.
Premium petrol, sold under brands such as Speed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Power by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), and XP95 by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), has seen a price increase ranging between ₹2.09 and ₹2.35 per litre.
Despite the hike in premium variants, the prices of regular petrol remain unchanged, offering some relief to the majority of consumers who rely on standard fuel.
