Pakistani clerics pray for humanity as COVID-19 rages on in India
New Delhi, April 30, 2021: As COVID-19 rages on India with the death toll rising each day, the clerics in the neighboring country Pakistan are praying for the well-being of all and urging public to pray wish that this dark phase ends soon for India. .
Mufti Tarif Masood urged people that during the Ramadan days, people should collectively seek forgiveness and pray for the wellbeing of not just the Muslim community but for the wellbeing of all.
Similarly, Maulana Tariq Jameel in public prayer on television said at the time India’s roads are now filled with dead bodies as the COVID havoc continues, we pray for mercy on people and compassion. “End this havoc. Make this phase end,” he prayed.
India recorded 3,86,452 new COVID-19 cases, 3,498 related deaths and 2,97,540 recoveries on Thursday. The cumulative count of the COVID-19 cases has gone up to 1,87,62,976. The total active cases of the infection in India have now mounted to 31,70,228. (ANI)
