New Delhi, March 17, 2025: Chandigarh MP Manish Tewari, speaking during Question Hour in Parliament, urged the Central Government to take immediate steps for the preservation of historical artifacts related to Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Sh. Batukeshwar Dutt.
Tewari highlighted that personal artifacts, including the iconic red pamphlets thrown by Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt in the Central Assembly, remain stored in the Parliament’s Police Station storage unit.
He emphasized that these items are a precious legacy of India’s freedom movement and should be retrieved, conserved, and put on public display for future generations.
