Lehragaga (Punjab), April 28 (2025) - The Punjab government is set to bring two major infrastructure projects to Lehragaga, further solidifying its commitment to the state's overall development.
Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Rishi and SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal, inspected the proposed sites for a new Sub Divisional Complex and Grain Market in Lehragaga.
The new Sub Divisional Complex will be constructed at the old police station area, while the Grain Market will provide a modern platform for local farmers to trade their produce.
Minister Goyal emphasized that both buildings will be state-of-the-art, reflecting the government's dedication to progress and development.
Highlighting the government's focus on border areas, Minister Goyal stated, "The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to ensuring the overall development of the state, with special attention to border areas like Lehragaga."
He further apprised the public about the various initiatives undertaken by the state government to promote growth and prosperity.
These projects are expected to enhance the quality of life for residents, provide better facilities for farmers, and contribute to the region's economic growth. Moreover, the relocation of the grain market outside the city is expected to alleviate traffic congestion within the city.
