155 Battalion celebrates BSF’s 61st Raising Day at JCP Hussainiwala
Ferozepur, December 2, 2025: The Border Security Force’s 155 Battalion celebrated the 61st Raising Day of the BSF with great enthusiasm and dignity at Joint Check Post (JCP) Hussainiwala. Officers, subordinate officers, and jawans of the battalion were present in full strength.
The event began with a congratulatory message from Commandant Shravan Nath Goswami, who highlighted the significance of Raising Day and paid tribute to fallen heroes. He urged the jawans to remain committed, disciplined, and ever-ready to safeguard the nation’s borders.
Students from Guru Amardas International School presented vibrant cultural performances, including captivating folk dances that won the hearts of the audience. BSF personnel also showcased energetic Bhangra and Bihu dance performances, drawing admiration from officers, troops, and civilians alike.
Several jawans were honoured for exemplary service. The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge to uphold national security, peace, and integrity.
The event not only reflected deep patriotism but also strengthened the bond between BSF personnel and local citizens. Special guests included Dr Satinder Singh, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary), Arun Chaudhary, District Public Relations Officer, social worker Dharampal Bansal, and Ashok Behl.
