Sanjeev Arora Case: Court defers hearing, fixes next date

Chandigarh, June 8, 2026: A court in Gurugram on Monday adjourned the hearing in the case related to Punjab Industries Minister Sanjeev Arora and fixed June 12 as the next date of hearing after listening to arguments presented by both parties.
During the proceedings, lawyers representing the prosecution and the defence put forth their submissions on various aspects of the case. After hearing the arguments, the court reserved further consideration and scheduled the matter for hearing on June 12.
The case has drawn considerable attention since the Enforcement Directorate arrested Arora from his official residence in Chandigarh's Sector 2 on May 9 as part of its ongoing investigation.
