During the meetings, Arora highlighted the state’s Industrial & Business Development Policy-2026 and its single-window clearance mechanism, assuring prospective investors of time-bound approvals, responsive governance and end-to-end support through Invest Punjab.
Earlier, Dr Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai, hosted Arora over breakfast, where they discussed investment promotion in Punjab, strengthening investor engagement and measures to enhance confidence among prospective investors.
As part of his Dubai engagements, Arora held one-on-one meetings with senior executives and business leaders from several prominent UAE groups, including Sharaf Group, Mount Meru Group, Al Dobowi Group, Jacky’s, Apparel Group, LuLu Retail Holdings PLC and GEMS Education.
The discussions focused on exploring sector-specific investment opportunities, business-to-business partnerships, technology collaboration and greater UAE participation in Punjab’s economic growth.
Punjab Highlights Investor-Friendly Policy
Arora highlighted the key provisions of the Industrial & Business Development Policy-2026, saying the policy aims to create a competitive and investor-friendly ecosystem, accelerate industrial development, improve ease of doing business and attract investments capable of generating employment.
He said Invest Punjab would serve as a single-point facilitation platform for approvals, clearances, land-related assistance and end-to-end handholding of investment projects.
According to the Minister, Punjab offers investors strategic geographical positioning, strong connectivity, a skilled workforce, an established industrial base, entrepreneurial talent and access to a large domestic market.
The state is seeking investments in sectors including food processing and agro-based industries, logistics and warehousing, education and skill development, manufacturing, information technology, renewable energy and other emerging areas.
Arora assured prospective investors that the state government would provide streamlined approvals, time-bound facilitation and dedicated support through Invest Punjab.
Meeting With Indian Ambassador to UAE
Arora also met Deepak Mittal, IFS, Ambassador of India to the UAE, at AIM Dubai. The meeting focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in areas including skill development, agriculture and food processing.
Arora highlighted Punjab’s investment incentives aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship, generating employment and developing a globally competitive industrial ecosystem.
He said Punjab’s participation in AIM Dubai was part of the state government’s efforts under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to engage with global investors and showcase opportunities emerging from Punjab’s revamped investment ecosystem.
“Our objective is not just to bring in investment, but to forge long-term partnerships that generate employment, strengthen industry and accelerate Punjab’s economic growth,” Arora said.
The Punjab delegation led by Arora includes CEO Invest Punjab Amit Dhaka, Director Industries and Commerce Jaspreet Singh and MD Punjab Financial Corporation Senu Duggal.
