BJP worker killed, 5 injured in Mansa road accident

Mansa (Punjab), September 23, 2026:A Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader was killed and five others were injured after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck near Kot Dharmu village on the Sirsa-Mansa road on Wednesday.
The group was returning to Mansa from Jhunir after participating in the BJP’s ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’.
The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Arshdeep Singh of Ramdittewala village, vice-president of the BJYM’s Mansa district unit. He was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital following the accident.
The injured were identified as Vinod Kumar (54), Sunil Kumar (25), Bhim (27), Mohit Singla (30), all from Mansa, and Navdeep Singh (23) of Ramdittewala. Four of the injured were referred to AIIMS Bathinda, while one was shifted to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana.
