New Delhi, May 12, 2026: Rajya Sabha MP Rajinder Gupta, who is also Chairman of Trident Group, has expressed strong support for the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, encouraging Work From Home, virtual meetings, carpooling, and greater use of public transport in metro cities.
In a social media post, Gupta described the initiative as “thoughtful, timely and deeply aligned with the spirit of collective national responsibility,” adding that it reflects a broader shift towards disciplined, sustainable and efficient urban practices.
He said Trident Group is actively aligning its workplace policies with this approach, including wider adoption of virtual meetings, Work From Home wherever feasible, optimized travel planning, reduction in non-essential international and commercial travel, encouragement of carpooling, and promotion of responsible mobility practices, especially in major cities.
Emphasising collective responsibility, Gupta said that small coordinated efforts can contribute significantly to nation-building, noting: “छोटे-छोटे सामूहिक कदम ही राष्ट्र निर्माण में बड़ी भूमिका निभाते हैं.”
He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inspiring citizens towards alert citizenship, disciplined action and shared responsibility in the national interest.
The remarks were shared in the context of industry-level discussions linked to the Confederation of Indian Industry, where senior policymakers and industry leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, have participated in broader deliberations on governance and development priorities.
