CGC Landran chosen to host Google Developer Group’s Solutions Challenge Bootcamp
Chosen as one of the only ten host institutes from across India

Chandigarh, March 18, 2025: Chandigarh College of Engineering (COE), CGC Landran has been chosen as one of the ten institutes from across India to host the Solutions Challenge Bootcamp being organised by Google Developer Group (GDG) and Hack2Skill.
Set to be organised on March 24 in campus at CGC Landran, this event would bring together student developers, industry experts and tech enthusiasts under one roof giving them an opportunity to learn, interact and network.
This Bootcamp will give budding student developers a great opportunity to receive hands-on training through workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Android and Gemini AI.
They would also receive mentorship from Google experts through exclusive interactive sessions, networking and meeting with other enthusiasts from other colleges in the region.Participation in this event will further pave the way for student developers to compete in the GDG on Campus Solution Challenge India Hackathon.
They would be able to present their AI-based solutions for a problem statement relevant to the overarching theme of the Solutions Challenge Hackathon standing a chance to win from a prize pool of Rs. 8,00,000/- in addition to getting Google Cloud certifications.
Google Developer Groups (GDG), previously known as the Google Developer Students Club, is a campus-based community established at CGC Landran’s COE, in 2018, that enables students to acquire new skills and apply theoretical knowledge through practical activities such as workshops and tech talks.
The Google Developer Groups are present across more than 100 countries globally, with over 2,100 chapters in colleges and universities worldwide.
