Global digital giant Adobe has inaugurated India’s first Adobe Express Lounge at Chandigarh University, aiming to transform digital learning, spark creativity, and enhance career prospects among students. The state-of-the-art facility will provide engineering, management, and design students with industry-aligned training and access to cutting-edge creative tools.
At the launch event, senior leaders from Adobe—including Harpreet Kaur (Director, Talent Acquisition), Ajit Kumar (Program Manager), Abhishek Rao (Senior Talent Partner), and Neetika Lakhtakia (Manager, Talent Operations)—joined Chandigarh University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manpreet Singh Manna and other senior university officials.
Harpreet Kaur emphasized that today’s students crave collaboration, self-expression, and building real-world projects. “As creativity becomes a core skill for Gen Z, tools like Adobe Express are bridging the gap between classroom learning and career readiness—enabling students to build personal branding assets, create portfolios, and acquire vital skills for jobs, internships, and entrepreneurship,” she said. Kaur also noted that the lounge will empower students to achieve financial independence, pursue solopreneurship, and navigate the evolving landscape of digital work.
Ajit Kumar highlighted India’s storytelling tradition and explained that the Express Lounge would equip students with the tools and mentorship needed to build professional portfolios and social media-ready content. The lounge features advanced infrastructure, Adobe’s latest technology, and provides access to Adobe Firefly (generative AI tools) for next-generation content creation.
Students from a variety of backgrounds—including Engineering, AI/ML, Media & Communication, Design, Fine Arts, and Business—will benefit from training modules covering digital storytelling, UI/UX, personal branding, and creative portfolio development. The initiative also includes Adobe-certified courses, live projects, hackathons, mentorship sessions, and access to workshops led by Adobe professionals.
Chandigarh University’s Senior Managing Director, Deep Inder Singh Sandhu, called the launch “a giant leap forward” in building future-oriented, industry-ready professionals. He remarked, “Our collaboration with Adobe is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning, nurturing creative, digitally fluent leaders at a time when the digital revolution is transforming every sector.”
The Adobe Express Lounge will also empower student clubs, societies, and event committees to create their own branding and promotional materials, developing both technical and soft skills through hands-on projects.
This pioneering partnership reflects both organizations’ commitment to integrating creativity, technology, and real-world skills into the heart of academic life—preparing students to thrive in the digital-first workplace.
