Former ISRO Chief Dr. A.S. Kiran Kumar inspires CGC University students in Mohali

Mohali (Punjab), September 8, 2025: CGC University, Mohali, welcomed Dr. A.S. Kiran Kumar, former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and one of India’s leading scientists, for an inspiring session with students and faculty.
During his 50-minute lecture, Dr. Kiran Kumar highlighted India’s achievements in space research, the challenges ahead, and the vast opportunities for young engineers in science and technology.
He emphasized perseverance, originality, and the discipline of sustained curiosity as key ingredients for innovation.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students asked questions about satellite research, space exploration, and career opportunities, all of which Dr. Kumar addressed with encouragement and insight.
