CGC Jhanjeri, Mohali celebrates Yoga Week

Mohali (Punjab), June 23, 2025: Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri, Mohali, enthusiastically celebrated Yoga Week, culminating in a ceremony focused on mindful harmony and holistic wellness.
Organized by the CGC Department of Sports, the week-long celebration saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff.Throughout the week, the campus buzzed with a variety of engaging activities designed to deepen the understanding and practice of yoga.
These included daily yoga sessions led by certified instructors, workshops on various asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation sessions focused on stress reduction, and informative talks on the holistic benefits of yoga for physical and mental health.
During this period, Acharya Manish, Managing Director of Jeena Seekho and Founder of HIIMS Group of Hospitals, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Acharya Manish provided invaluable information to the assembled students and staff, elaborating on the benefits of yoga, its role in physical and mental well-being, disease prevention, and excellent healthcare. He explained in detail how regular yoga practice can significantly boost immunity, improve mental clarity, and help prevent and manage various lifestyle diseases.
