Chandigarh, September 15, 2026: The Punjab Police Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) has arrested alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang associate Karmveer Singh at the Delhi International Airport following his deportation from Canada, Punjab Police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, Karmveer Singh was wanted in cases registered at the State Crime Police Station, SAS Nagar (Mohali), under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Arms Act and Passport Act.
The investigation has revealed that Karmveer allegedly provided logistical assistance, hideouts and other resources to Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, while he was in the United States, the police said. The Punjab Police had issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Karmveer Singh on September 3, 2026, in connection with the cases.
Police said Karmveer has a criminal history and several cases, including murder, attempt to murder, robbery, extortion and violations under the Arms Act, are registered against him.
The AGTF is now questioning the accused, with police stating that his interrogation may lead to important information about the alleged international criminal network, its funding and other associates.
The action was also shared by the Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab, through a social media post. Further investigation into the case is underway.
