Ferozepur, November 22, 2024: The Ferozepur Railway Division conducted awareness camps about the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0 from November 18 to 22 at Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jammu Tawi, and the Divisional Office in Ferozepur. Helpdesks were set up at these locations to guide pensioners on the process and benefits of submitting their life certificates digitally.
With this initiative, railway pensioners no longer need to visit banks or post offices in person, a task previously mandatory during November. The railway administration has introduced a biometric-based Digital Life Certificate (DLC) service, which utilizes Aadhaar-linked fingerprint and facial recognition technology to facilitate the process.
Pensioners can now download their Digital Life Certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan portal and submit it online, saving time and eliminating the need for physical visits. This digital solution offers convenience and hassle-free service, allowing pensioners to submit their life certificates from the comfort of their homes.
