  Amritsar/Chandigarh, May 12, 2026: A former Army man Gupreet Singh a serial killer from Tarn Taran in Punjab killed in encounter with UP Police at Chandauli.
  
  He had murdered two passengers in Jammu Tawi train and later murdered a woman at hospital.
  
  Police had arrested Gurpreet and was later taken for scene re-creation where he opened fire at police and killed in encounter.
