Kejriwal Release: Read 5 conditions imposed by SC on Kejriwal

New Delhi, May 10, 2024: After spending 50 days in Tihar jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released on Friday following the Supreme Court's order granting him interim bail in the excise policy case till June 1.
However, the apex court has imposed five conditions on Arvind Kejriwal.
Here are those five conditions:
- He shall not visit the Office of the Chief Minister or the Delhi Secretariat.

- He would not interact with any of the witnesses or have access to any official files connected with the case.

- He will not "make any comment about his role" in the Excise Policy case.

- He shall not sign official files unless it is required and necessary for obtaining clearance/ approval of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.

- He shall furnish bail bonds for Rs 50,000 with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta ordered Arvind Kejriwal to surrender on June 2.
