  Chandigarh, March 12, 2025: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Chandigarh Police along with a private individual for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe.
  
  The accused were caught red-handed while accepting ₹54,400, which was the first installment of a ₹1.5 lakh bribe demanded from the complainant.The agency has registered a case and is further investigating the matter.
