Bathinda (Punjab), March 23, 2025 – Jaswinder Kaur Bath, wife of Indian Army Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath, has strongly denied allegations of dodging in the Johal family murder of businessman Harjinder Singh Johal, popularly known as Mela.
Johal, the president of the Mall Road Traders Association, was murdered by gangsters in October 2023.
In a video statement released today, Johal’s widow, Aarti Johal, questioned Jaswinder Kaur Bath’s role in settling the case and highlighted the treatment she received following her husband's murder.
She also hinted that Colonel Bath may have done some wrong with police officials and they might have retaliated . Dismissing the allegations, Jaswinder Kaur Bath asserted her innocence and reaffirmed her support for Johal’s family.
