Chandigarh, April 5, 2025: Haryana's Transport Minister Anil Vij said that solar panels will be installed at bus stands in Haryana so that it can become self-sufficient in terms of electricity.
Additionally, electric buses will be introduced in the state soon, for which electric vehicle charging stations will also be established.Vij was replying to a question asked by the media personnel today.
He said that he has directed concerned officers to install solar power panels at bus stands across Haryana to make it energy self-reliant.
Similarly, since electric buses will soon be launched in the state, charging stations will be installed at bus stands, including one such charging station to be set up at Ambala Cantt bus stand.
“Owaisi Bhai Jaan has lost his mental balance” – Vij
Vij said that the Waqf Amendment Bill, 2025 is being opposed by two types of people, those who have encroached on land and those who do not understand the law or the changes made to it. Responding to Asaduddin Owaisi's objections to the bill, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said that "Owaisi Bhai Jaan has lost his mental balance."
He added that the bill was passed in Parliament according to legal procedure. All laws are made in the Lok Sabha where everyone has the opportunity to speak. Not accepting it is akin to disrespecting Parliament.
“The people will deal with Mamata Banerjee’s government in West Bengal during elections” – Vij
Vij said that under the Mamata Banerjee government’s protection, crime is increasing in West Bengal. The people will now take action during elections, just like they threw out Kejriwal, they will do the same with Mamata Banerjee.
College and school in Ambala Cantonment to be renovated – Vij
He said that the government college in Ambala Cantonment will soon be renovated.He was instrumental in getting that college built, and today, many students from there are working in high positions.
Similarly, he has released Rs.50 lakh each from his discretionary fund for repairs at Ram Bagh and BC Bazaar schools in Ambala.
