PM Modi visits Yamunagar, inaugurates key development projects, addresses mega rally

Yamunagar (Haryana), April 14, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Yamunanagar, Haryana, today, where he inaugurated several major development projects and addressed a massive public rally.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and other senior BJP leaders, PM Modi launched initiatives worth hundreds of crores aimed at accelerating the region’s growth.
The Prime Minister arrived at 11:30 AM to a grand welcome at the helipad, with tight security arrangements in place. He first inaugurated a multi-specialty hospital in Jagadhri and unveiled new roads and sewage projects under the Smart City Mission.
In his address to a huge gathering, PM Modi declared, “Haryana is my family. The land of Yamunanagar has played a vital role in strengthening India through industry, education, and patriotism. Our government’s mission is to ensure development reaches every citizen.”
He highlighted India's position as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, with Haryana playing a leading role. Referring to various schemes for farmers, youth, and women, Modi said that the “double-engine” government of the Centre and State is propelling Haryana toward self-reliance.

- Foundation stone for a new industrial zone worth ₹500 crore.
- 100-bed Women and Child Hospital to be built.
- ₹80 crore modernization project for Yamunanagar Railway Station.
- New Skill Development Center for youth.
CM Nayab Singh Saini, welcoming the Prime Minister, praised his visionary leadership, crediting Modi for Haryana’s remarkable development over the past decade.
Political Significance & BJP’s 2029 Mission
The rally, drawing a massive turnout, is being seen as a strategic political move ahead of the upcoming elections. BJP leaders asserted that the public response demonstrated the party’s growing grassroots strength in the state.
PM Modi also aimed at the opposition, saying, “They only practice vote bank politics, while we believe in the politics of development.”
Security Arrangements
More than 3,000 police personnel were deployed across Yamunanagar for the Prime Minister’s visit, with drone surveillance ensuring round-the-clock security in the area.
