  Chandigarh, April 25, 2025: The Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Mann suspended 1997-batch IPS officer SPS Parmar in an alleged driving license scam.
  
  Along with SPS Parmar, PPS officer Swarandeep Singh, AIG Flying Squad Vigilance Bureau, PPS officer Harpreet Singh Mander, SSP Vigilance Bureau have also been placed under suspension.
