Tiranga Yatra at Sukhna Lake celebrates success of Operation Sindoor

Chandigarh, May 18, 2025: A wave of patriotism swept across Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh on Sunday morning as citizens gathered to participate in a Tiranga Yatra celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor—a recent military triumph that has ignited national pride and unity.
The yatra saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of citizens, including youth, women, veterans, and members of various social organizations. The event was marked by the presence of prominent political figures such as BJP State President Jitender Pal Malhotra and District President Sonu Sarpanch, who marched alongside the public in a show of solidarity with the armed forces.
With the tricolour held high, the marchers filled the air with passionate chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Inquilab Zindabad,” and “Jai Hind,” echoing their deep respect and gratitude toward the Indian Armed Forces.
Addressing the crowd, Jitender Pal Malhotra stated, “Operation Sindoor is more than just a military success—it embodies the courage, commitment, and spirit of India. This Tiranga Yatra is our way of saluting the unmatched bravery of our soldiers and the sacrifices of our martyrs.”
The event concluded with a collective salute to the national flag and a powerful chorus of “Jai Hind,” symbolizing the unity and resilience of the Indian people.
