Haryana extends tenure of Part-II outsourced employees

Chandigarh, May 23, 2025 — The Haryana Government has extended the contract period for employees engaged under Part-II of the Outsourcing Policy until June 30, 2025.
These employees, who are appointed on a lump sum basis across various departments, boards, and corporations, will continue their services for an additional period, subject to certain conditions.
A formal communication to this effect has been issued by the Chief Secretary's Office.The extension is contingent upon compliance with the terms outlined in the memorandum issued by Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN) on March 25, 2025.
Background
The State Government had earlier extended the contract period of these employees for three months—from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025—through an order issued on February 28, 2025.The latest extension provides continued employment stability to these workers for another quarter.
This move is expected to benefit a large number of contractual employees across the state and ensure continuity in service delivery across government departments and affiliated bodies.
