Vajra Corps GOC reaffirms enduring bond with veterans, emphasizes role in nation building
Jalandhar, May 23, 2025 Lieutenant General Ajay Chandpuria, AVSM. VSM, General Officer Commanding, Vajra Corps, today held a heartfelt interaction with Indian Army Veterans at Jalandhar Cantonment. The interaction was a tribute to the invaluable contribution of the Veterans and local communities in the process of Nation building.
Addressing the gathering, the GOC lauded the selfless service and steadfast commitment of the Veterans, not only during their years in uniform but also in their continued role as pillars of strength within society. He emphasized that Veterans play a vital role in strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the citizens, fostering trust, unity and National pride.
Lt Gen Chandpuria also provided an overview of the current security situation and assured the Veterans and through them, the larger public, of the Indian Army's unwavering preparedness and resolve to safeguard the Nation's interests.
