Four Police Officials Arrested
The arrested officials include CIA In-Charge Bisman Singh Mahi, ASIs Nirmal Kumar and Jaswinder Singh, and Constable Jagrup Singh. All four were taken into custody on Friday morning following a swift and confidential internal investigation.

DIG Confirms Arrests, Reaffirms Zero Tolerance for Corruption
DIG Jalandhar Range Naveen Singla confirmed the arrests and issued a strong statement:
“We have zero tolerance for corruption, regardless of rank or position. The law applies equally to all—be it a civilian or a uniformed officer. Strictest possible action will be taken.”
Officials to Be Produced in Court
Following preliminary medical examinations, the arrested officers will be presented before a judicial magistrate. They have been booked under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and have been suspended with immediate effect.
