Ludhiana (Punjab), May 25, 2025: Following the announcement of the bye-election schedule for Ludhiana (West) by the Election Commission of India, AAP candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has called on voters to view the upcoming poll as a critical moment for transformative leadership.
The bye-election, set for June 19, comes in the wake of the passing of AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, leaving the seat vacant. The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Arora, a well-known figure in both political and philanthropic circles, to contest this important seat.
In response to the election announcement, Arora stated:
“The official declaration of the election date has brought clarity and new energy to my campaign. I have been engaging with the people of Ludhiana (West) for the past several weeks, and now I’m moving ahead with greater focus and urgency. I appeal to every voter to come forward and participate actively in this democratic process. This is not just an election—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our constituency with a clean, responsive, and development-oriented leadership.”

Campaign in Full Swing
Having already spent nearly three months in door-to-door outreach, public meetings, and listening tours, Arora’s campaign has now entered an accelerated phase. Emphasizing his goals for the constituency, he added:
“I am committed to improving healthcare, education, and infrastructure in Ludhiana. I want to make this a model constituency—one where every citizen feels heard, respected, and empowered. My doors will always be open to the people, and I will work with honesty and purpose to ensure Ludhiana’s voice is strongly represented in the Vidhan Sabha.”
