MP Sanjeev Arora showcases 3-year report card, seeks support from Ludhiana (West) voters

Ludhiana (Punjab), May 25, 2025:Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Ludhiana (West), Sanjeev Arora, on Saturday held a series of high-energy poll meetings at Guru Amardas Nagar, Mall Road, New Prem Nagar, and Kitchlu Nagar, presenting his “report card” of achievements and reaffirming his commitment to the city’s development.
Addressing enthusiastic gatherings, Arora said his past three years of work were rooted in a deep desire to serve the people of Ludhiana. “I have undertaken every project with passion and commitment,” he said. “If elected, I will work ten times harder to ensure even greater progress in Ludhiana (West).”
Citizens and Experts Laud Arora’s Track Record
At Guru Amardas Nagar, Ar. Sanjay Goel, former Director of Ludhiana Smart City Ltd., commended Arora’s contributions, declaring that the development seen in the last three years under his leadership “surpasses the previous three decades.”
Highlighting landmark initiatives, Goel pointed to:
- Halwara Airport project
- Elevated road infrastructure
- Civil hospital modernization
- Upgraded water supply, sewerage systems, and street lighting
Calling Arora a “role model in politics,” Goel praised his transparent, service-oriented leadership.
Tribute to Late MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi
In a heartfelt moment at New Prem Nagar, Arora paid tribute to the late MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, whose passing led to the upcoming bye-election.
A large photograph of Gogi was displayed, and Arora shared, “I had not aspired to contest this election. I am here because of the party’s decision and the people’s faith, following Gogi ji’s untimely demise.”
