Chandigarh, June 10, 2025 – Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, launched the FastTrack Punjab Portal (www.fasttrack.punjab.gov.in), a new digital initiative aimed at accelerating industrial and institutional approvals in the state.
The unified portal is designed to provide a seamless, transparent, and accountable system for service delivery, particularly catering to investors and business establishments.
As per the official information, all approvals will now be granted within a maximum of 45 working days under the “deemed approval” mechanism. If a decision is not made within this period, the portal will automatically issue a legally valid approval the next day.
Under the Punjab Right to Business Act, in-principle approval for eligible projects will be granted in just 3 working days within Industrial Parks and in 15 working days for locations outside such parks. The system covers a broad spectrum of industrial proposals including those in manufacturing, IT, hospitals, and more.
The Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion will act as a unified regulatory authority, bringing together multiple departments under one roof to speed up decision-making and reduce bureaucratic overlap.
The FastTrack Punjab Portal promises a single-entry, single-text clearance process, streamlining investor engagement in the state. The launch marks another step in the Punjab government’s efforts to foster a business-friendly environment, promoting ease of doing business and attracting new investments.
The portal was launched in a program at the Amity University Mohali where cabinet ministers Harpal Cheema, Tarunpreet Sond, Hardeep Singh Mundian and Dr Ravjot Singh were also present.
