Delhi Dwarka Fire Horror: People jump from 7th floor to escape blaze, rescue operation underway

New Delhi, June 10, 2025: A massive fire broke out on the seventh floor of an apartment in Dwarka Sector-13, Delhi, early this morning, triggering panic and chaos in the area. The blaze was so intense that several residents jumped from the building in a desperate attempt to escape the flames.
Local police and fire brigade teams rushed to the scene and have begun extensive rescue and relief operations. The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Flames Engulf the Building; Eight Fire Engines Deployed
The fire department received an emergency call around 10:00 AM reporting a fire on the top floor of the apartment located near MRV School.Eight fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site. Flames were seen billowing out of the seventh floor, making firefighting efforts extremely challenging.
Chaos and Desperate Attempts to Escape
The fire created a panic-stricken atmosphere inside the building. Although evacuation efforts began swiftly, some residents were still trapped inside when the fire spread.
Several people reportedly jumped from the upper floors to save their lives. The fire brigade and police teams are continuing their efforts to locate and rescue anyone who may still be inside.
Rescue Operations Continue; Authorities Monitoring the Situation
Following the incident, the fire department secured the affected floor and surrounding areas to ensure safety. Police officials are also on-site, closely monitoring the situation.
