Haryana Govt appoints 10 law officers as Additional Advocate Generals for 1-year term

Chandigarh, June 16, 2025: In a significant administrative move, the Haryana Government has re-designated 10 senior and deputy advocate generals as Additional Advocate Generals (AAGs) under Section 9-A of the Haryana Law Officers (Engagement) Act, 2016.
These appointments have been made on a contractual basis for a period of one year, following the Governor's approval and on the recommendation of the Advocate General, Haryana.
The appointed AAGs will render their services at the Office of the Advocate General in Chandigarh and the Haryana Legal Cell at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi.
Newly Appointed Additional Advocate Generals:
- Apoorv Garg – Senior Deputy Advocate General
- Sukhdeep Parmar – Senior Deputy Advocate General
- Vikrant Pambhu – Senior Deputy Advocate General
- Rahul Mohan – Senior Deputy Advocate General
- Praveen Kumar Aggarwal – Deputy Advocate General
- Bhupender Singh – Deputy Advocate General
- Ram Kumar Singla – Deputy Advocate General
- Deepak Bhardwaj – Deputy Advocate General
- Sharad Aggarwal – Deputy Advocate General
- Shekhar Raj Sharma – Deputy Advocate General (Haryana Legal Cell, New Delhi)
