Tragedy in Manali: Alto car falls into gorge, 4 dead

Manali (Himachal Pradesh), July 4, 2025 – A tragic road accident occurred near Raninala on the Rohtang Tunnel route today, claiming the lives of four individuals and leaving one person seriously injured.
The incident took place when an Alto car (registration number HP-01K-7850) lost control and plunged into a deep gorge. The vehicle reportedly overturned due to the impact.
All four victims died on the spot, while the injured person was rescued and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.Local authorities confirmed that the car had a valid Rohtang permit. Police from Manali reached the scene soon after receiving information and began an investigation. The exact cause of the accident remains unknown.
