Punjab CM Mann’s wife, mother join Tarn Taran campaign trail, boost support for Harmeet Sandhu

Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 9, 2025: As the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election campaign reaches its final stretch, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major morale boost on Sunday when Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, and his mother actively joined the campaign to canvass for party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu.
Their participation sparked enthusiasm among AAP workers and local residents, drawing large crowds during their visit to village Moose Kalan.
Interacting directly with voters, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur thanked residents for their overwhelming support and said the response reflected public satisfaction with the Mann government’s pro-people policies.
In a show of growing momentum for AAP, several prominent families from the village announced their decision to leave traditional parties and join the AAP in the presence of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur.
Welcoming them into the party fold, she assured that every new member would be treated with respect and dignity.
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur said that voters have made up their minds to support development and that Harmeet Singh Sandhu’s victory would help sustain the progress initiated by the Mann-led government.
She expressed gratitude to the people of Tarn Taran for their continued trust and support ahead of the November 11 by-poll.
