Punjab: 24 Class-IV employees promoted to clerks

Chandigarh, November 21, 2025: Punjab Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur on Friday handed over promotion orders to 24 Class-IV employees elevated to the post of Clerk, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to employee welfare and career progression under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership.
The promotion list includes four specially-abled employees, reflecting the government’s focus on equal opportunity and inclusive growth. Handing over the orders at Punjab Bhawan, Dr. Baljit Kaur said the state is dedicated to ensuring dignity, rights, and fair advancement for every section of its workforce.
Congratulating the newly promoted Clerks, she emphasised that the department plays a crucial role in serving senior citizens, women, children, and economically weaker sections. She urged employees to discharge their new responsibilities with honesty, sincerity, and dedication.
The Minister also directed departmental officials to ensure timely, mandatory training for all promoted staff to strengthen efficiency and professionalism in service delivery.
Present on the occasion were Social Security Director Mrs. Shena Aggarwal, Additional Director Mr. Charanjit Singh Mann, Deputy Director Mr. Ravinder Singh Rahi, along with other officials and staff members.
