Condemns RSS workers’ murder in Ferozepur
‘WE ARE ONE’ seems urgent police intervention on crime, traffic issues
Ferozepur, December 11, 2025: The rapidly growing social organisation “WE ARE ONE” Ferozepur held an important meeting at the newly opened Hotel The Grey Heights in Ferozepur. A large number of prominent families, businessmen, and eminent citizens from the city and cantonment area participated.
The meeting began with a condolence message for RSS worker Naveen Kumar Arora, who was recently shot dead in the busy Ferozepur market. Members observed a two-minute silence to pray for the peace of his departed soul.
Following this, the organisation discussed the increasing number of criminal incidents occurring in Ferozepur. Members expressed concern over the rising law-and-order challenges and agreed to meet senior police officials in the coming days to press for stronger action to prevent such crimes. The growing traffic chaos in the city and cantonment was also highlighted as an urgent issue requiring immediate attention.
Senior lawyer and chief coordinator of the organisation, Advocate Sham Sunder Monga, industrialist Nand Kishore Gugan, and Press Club Ferozepur President Mandeep Kumar Monty said that the organisation was established with the primary aim of raising public issues before senior authorities and seeking timely solutions. For this purpose, five specialised committees have been formed, each focusing on different departments to assist members in resolving their problems efficiently.
The organisation, which started with around 50 members, has now expanded to nearly 100, and is steadily emerging as a major citizens’ body in Ferozepur.
The organisers announced that they would soon hold meetings with DIG Ferozepur Range Snehdeep Sharma and SSP Bhupinder Singh, to discuss measures to curb criminal activities and tackle the worsening traffic situation. They emphasised the need for concrete steps from the administration.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several distinguished members, including retired Red Cross sector officer Ashok Behl, industrialists Raman Garg, Vikas Mittal, Sameer Mittal, Advocate Raman Monga, Deepak Sharma, journalist Sunny Chopra, Rajesh Mehta, Tarsem Vij, Arvind Bansal, Shami Oberoi, Kuldeep Sharma, Naveen Sachdeva, Rajiv Handa, Sahil Gupta, Subhash Vij, Sanjeev Arora, Subodh Kakkar, and many others.
