Rajya Sabha MP Rajinder Gupta Nominated to Consultative Committee of Ministry of Finance

Rajya Sabha Member Rajinder Gupta has been nominated as a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Finance, according to an official notification issued today by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India.
The notification, dated December 5, 2025,issued by the Ministry confirms Gupta’s induction into the key consultative body that advises the Ministry of Finance on policy matters and ongoing programmes.
This new assignment adds to Rajinder Gupta’s active Parliamentary roles. He is also the member of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour, Textiles, and Skill Development, where he has been contributing to discussions related to labour welfare, industrial policy, and national skill enhancement initiatives.Today was the first meeting of this committee.
With his inclusion in the Finance Ministry’s Consultative Committee, Gupta will now be part of deliberations on fiscal policies, economic reforms, and budgetary matters, strengthening his engagement in national economic decision-making.
