With 6 drones soaring above and 300 CCTV cameras scanning below, police maintain vigilant surveillance, says Shubham Aggarwal

In honour of the Shaheed Sabha commemorating the supreme sacrifice of Chhota Sahibzade and Mata Gujri Ji, the District Police under SSP Shubham Aggarwal's vigilant leadership has orchestrated extensive measures to ensure both ironclad security and seamless traffic flow throughout the event.
SSP Shubham Aggarwal gathered with SPs, DSPs, and fellow officers today reviewing security preparations for the upcoming Shaheed Sabha and highlighting the comprehensive measures in place to protect the waves of devotees arriving from across the nation and beyond.
SSP Shubham Aggarwal stated that advanced technologies are being utilized to enhance security measures. Six high-tech drones are deployed for aerial surveillance, while 300 CCTV cameras have been installed along various routes to effectively curb pick pocketing and other anti-social activities.
He mentioned that a traffic plan has been developed to ensure smooth movement, with 11 alternative routes designated for vehicles entering the city from outside.
Additionally, 19 special traffic points have been set up within the city to prevent congestion. He further stated that nearly two dozen parking areas, both large and small, have been allocated for vehicles belonging to the attendees of the event.
The SSP mentioned that the entire area has been segmented into six sectors to ensure seamless arrangements. He further stated that approximately 3,500 police officers and staff from Fatehgarh Sahib and neighboring districts will be deployed during this period.
Aggarwal mentioned that 79 police checkpoints have been established along district borders and internal routes to ensure law and order is upheld.
Additionally, specialized teams will be stationed at police assistance centers to facilitate the reunification of missing children or elderly individuals with their families.
