  Chandigarh, January 8, 2026: Punjab has suffered a loss of Rs. 11855 crore rupees due to floods. A final report has been compiled with help of IIT Roorkee by the Punjab Government. This report will be sent to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) by the state government for seeking funds to cope with this loss. According to report paddy crop in 5 lakh acres has been damaged due to floods in 6 districts. Report has mentioned in details total loss of crops and different departments.
