Three SSPs in Punjab get new postings

Chandigarh, January 10, 2026: The Punjab Government has ordered the transfer and posting of three Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) as part of a larger reshuffle involving 22 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across the state.
As per the orders issued on Saturday, Jyoti Yadav, IPS (RR: 2019), who was serving as SSP Khanna, has been posted as the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda.
Meanwhile, Amneet Kondal, IPS (RR: 2012), formerly SSP Bathinda, has been promoted and appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Personnel, Punjab. In addition to this responsibility, he has also been given the charge of DIG, Social Media, Punjab, with headquarters at Chandigarh.
In another key posting, Gulneet Singh Khurana, IPS (RR: 2012), who was serving as SSP Rupnagar, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and posted as DIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab.
