  Guwahati, January 8, 2026: Congress party has set a condition of giving Rs. 50 thousand demand draft for ticket aspirants in Assam. According to a report of The Tribune, ticket aspirants can apply for ticket from January 5 to January 20 and these applications should be accompanied by Rs. 50 thousand demand draft then only they will be considered for ticket allocation.
  
  It is worth mentioning here that Congress has made MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as Chairperson of screening committee of Assam.
