Panwar said that all ministers, MLAs and other public representatives of the state government will be invited to the function. In addition, social and religious organisations from across Haryana, along with the general public, will also participate so that the teachings and message of Guru Ravidas Ji can reach a wider audience.
Describing Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji as a symbol of social harmony, equality and humanity, the minister said his teachings strongly opposed discrimination, untouchability and caste-based inequality. He added that Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality and unity continues to inspire society even today.

He said the aim of the government is to inspire the younger generation by highlighting the lives, thoughts and works of such revered figures.
The minister also paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary and extended greetings to the people of Haryana on the occasions of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and the New Year.
Responding to a query on the upcoming state budget, Panwar said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is holding consultations with farmers, industrialists and representatives of various sections to seek pre-budget suggestions.
He said practical and constructive suggestions would be incorporated to prepare a people-centric budget serving as a roadmap for Haryana’s overall development.
