Former CM Rajinder Kaur Bhattal condoles demise of Kusum Kairon

Chandigarh, January 29, 2026: Former Chief Minister of Punjab and senior Congress leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal expressed deep grief over the demise of Kusum Kairon, mother of former Punjab Minister Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon, who passed away on Thursday.
In her condolence message, Bhattal said that Kusum Kairon’s passing was an irreparable loss for the family and recalled her as a woman of grace and values. She conveyed her heartfelt sympathies to Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon and other bereaved family members, while praying for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family in this hour of grief.
Late Kusum Kairon was the wife of former Lok Sabha member Surinder Singh Kairon and the daughter-in-law of former Punjab Chief Minister Partap Singh Kairon.
The cremation will be held at 3:45 pm in Sector 25, Chandigarh.
