MLA Bhullar lays foundation stones for development works of ₹1.14 Crore in villages
Firozpur, February 27, 2026: Punjab MLA from Ferozepur Urban constituency, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, today laid the foundation stones for development projects worth approximately ₹1.14 crore across several villages in his assembly segment.
The initiatives, set to be completed soon, were inaugurated in villages including Hasti Wala, Bagge Ke Pippal, Bagge Ke Khurd, Rajji Wala, Asal, Basti Khemkaran, and Basti Balmiki.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bhullar highlighted that the projects encompass a range of essential infrastructure improvements, such as laying interlocking tiles, establishing solid waste management projects, constructing new panchayat ghars, ensuring potable water supply, paving streets and drains, setting up libraries, installing khadwanjas (speed breakers), building dharamshalas, erecting boundary walls around cremation grounds (shamshan ghats), cleaning ponds (chhappars), and repairing streets and drains.
He emphasized that these works, involving substantial investment running into lakhs of rupees, will provide significant benefits and improved facilities to the village residents upon completion.
MLA Bhullar credited the ongoing efforts to the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, stating that the state government is continuously working to deliver basic amenities to the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring equitable development in every village of the constituency and assured that more development projects would be initiated in the coming times, keeping local needs in focus.
The event was attended by village sarpanches, panchayat members, and local residents.
