Chandigarh, February 28, 2026 A recent meeting between two seasoned political figures — Bikram Singh Majithia and Manpreet Singh Badal — has set political circles abuzz across Punjab. The two leaders, often viewed as political rivals, were seen together at a private family function, sparking widespread discussion and speculation.
The occasion was the wedding ceremony of Vishwajit Singh Deol, son of AIG Harmik Singh Deol, security in-charge to Sukhbir Singh Badal and President of the Shiromani Akali Dal. Though the gathering was strictly social in nature, the presence and interaction of the two senior leaders quickly drew attention.
